I just read this on another message board.
Hi Everyone,
I am passing along a blog that shows where an animal was injured by a hard ball & had to have his tongue amputated.
It is made by "Four Paws".

According to the Urban Legend page, it is TRUE and the ball has been removed from the marketplace.
