I would be worried about more than just worms - the fever is what is worrying me.
If you can, get a sample of the diarrhea and bring it to the vet. I would be more worried about other things than worms.
It sounds like the vet is treating the symptoms and not trying to find the cause. I would bring her back, fecal sample and bloods. I would be worried that she picked something up at the kennel.
