Boxers are not a breed that does well as outside dogs.
As long as you properly housetrain her as well as groom her weekly and use a product such as Frontline if you see fleas or if flea are in issue in your area, then these excuses your Dad made will not be an issue.
Boxers are an active breed and also living outside will not teach a dog good house manners.
Dogs left outside are at greater risk of developing undesired and even dangerous behaviors. They are at greater risk of theft, developing aggressions if neighborhood kids or even adults start to tease them. They are more likely to become diggers, boredom barkers, escape artists etc.
In the heat of the summer or cold of the winter, your dog is more at risk. Boxer face structure is not one that leads to ease of breathing in the summer and they are at greater risk of overheating. In the winter, Boxers will not develop the coat needed to handle the stress of cold nights or days.
It is not fair to keep a dog that you want as a pet in strictly outside conditions.
You need to talk to your father or do you have a mother around? Talk to her.
Make your father aware of the greater chance of behavioral and safety issues. Also, does your family have the time to devote to the needs of a Boxer which due to energy levels, can be high? If not, would the dog be better off in a home more suited to her as opposed to living the rest of her life socially neglected?
