We started with Blackwood, which is available here, Next tried a less expensive same ingredient brand, and are now on a high end grocery store brand-sorry I threw the bag away and don't remember specifically. He will stick his face in the cat food and take it down so fast he chokes, any treat that he can get in his mouth goes down with no chewing-just sucking it in.
I have tried feeding him twice a day with double what his size calls for, but that didn't seem to help. However he can sit beside me on the couch while I eat and all he does is watch the movement of the fork, after the first initial begging for a bite.
Should add all the foods are dry food, he did suck straight down a rawhide treat made like a rib with 'meat' wraped around it so I'm afraid to try moist food.
