I did take him to obedience classes a couple months ago, and he had no problems when he was in the class, but as soon as he was finished he reverted back to his old ways, even when we were consistent. They teach you to stop whenever he pulls and he did it fine when he was in the class, but now he stops and sits and then pulls HARD on take off which he didn't do before.
He gets out a ton of energy on weekends when we take him to my parents (they have a big farm), its just difficult during the week as there are no fenced areas. I invested in a 20ft leash so we could play in the outfield of a nearby base ball diamond but he seems to get tangled up in it quite a bit as he likes to zig zag.
Our neighbours also have dogs and we usually let them run around our fair sized yards for a bit, but after a 10 minute rest after he is back up and ready for more fun.
Do you find that your lab likes to chew anything and everything?
