Hi Everyone,
I have a one year old Lab that is making me loose my marbles.
He hates being walked with a head halter (he rubs his head on the cement, cutting his nose), he's too strong on the flat collar (he's knocked me over a couple times on his take off) and his eyes go blood shot and he can't breathe when using a chocker. He will sit and stay but doesn't seem to get it the second his leash is on.
I've tried other ways of getting his energy out but he get bored with fetch, but only outside, he goes for the ball a couple times then goes to the back door. He doesn't listen too well when he is in an open space so letting him run around a park is out of the question.
He is a great dog when he is tuckered out but during the week his hour long walks just aren't cutting it.
Any suggestions??
