It was similar to getting hit in the face with a stick. Except with this one, the words 'She's a tattooed lesbian!' were the last thing you saw before getting smacked.
Oh, and lots of D!(# jokes.
The writers should have more pride than steal dialogue from a Vin Diesel movie.
This was pretty good. The only drawback was some of the lines Ruby Rose had to spout. The problem is that we watched XXX: The return of Xander Cage two days ago, and the dialogue is so close as to be plagiarism.
Camera angles helped hide that the actress is tiny, but that won't work when she is the lead in her own show. Surprisingly, I liked her a lot more than I expected.
So Batman disappeared awhile back, but Bruce Wayne didn't leave until three years ago. Later, Kara made it seem that Bats and Wayne disappeared at the same time. A little confusing, but I guess that will get straightened out with the Batwoman series.
The emo crap was much less, and serious beatdowns were back on. Good stuff.
