The closest socialism has ever come to working was the Israeli kibbutz model, which was very small scale and required the entire town to be ideologically committed. It was successful for a surprisingly long time, but eventually outlived its usefulness and the socialist kibbutz died out as the Israeli economy outgrew it.
This clown has clearly never read a history book outside of Zinn's ridiculous, socialist opinion.
This guy, in my opinion is a real tool. He's a left wing loon who takes the most specious of arguments and spins them to make his point. Take this video for example where he claims to debunk the thinking that "Socialism has never worked" where ever it's been tried. As I thought he takes two points that most people look at the Post Office and Social security as socialism that works. Of course he doesn't mention that both the Post Office and Social Security are going broke. He really reaches and says that the U.S. Military is a socialism program that works. I take issue with that as well. We might be willing to fund the Military for the sake of the country, but for the most part, the Military wastes money buckets at a time. Oh and you'll love how he conflates voluntary giving to charity as the bible saying that Jesus believed in socialism.
