American conservatism is uniquely American.
Oh, I forgot that I do have a political party: I'm Kuomintang because everybody on my mom's side of the family is KMT and she raised me to be one. Ironically that makes me a Conservative on Taiwan, not a liberal.

My wife just asked me if I was a Communist. This coming from someone who escaped the Khmer Rouge.
I officially have no Party affiliation. I believe and vote by my own compass.
