One character I always had trouble with? King Triton. Mainly because his hatred for humans seemed similar to racism. Well, if you're talking about fantasy movies, mermaid and human could be classified as races. That and he uses his trident to blow some beautiful stuff up since he's doing bad more than good from an artistic perspective.
Never really like certain aspects of certain movies since usually it would be uncomfortable for me. Particularly the scenes with the Indians in Peter Pan. I'm part Cherokee and I just find the gross stereotypes to be REALLY uncomfortable.
However, I like Iago (from Aladdin). He provided the yang (active) to Jafar's yin (passive) and in the sequels, he became more or less an ally, even though he was a little greedy. But then again, I see some of that in myself. (I might work for some bad people, but I might defect and keep some of my bad traits with me.)
