Off Topic: some good & Bad news

Well my husband finally got his 100% permanenet & total disability rating in the mail yesterday from the Veteran's Administration.

We can thank Sudam Hussein & The Gulf war or aka Desert storm for that!

So his disability check will increase a good amount & will get some more back pay.

The bad news he has to be in constant pain & have chronic depression! So at least now we will be able to pay our monthly bills now without having to drain the balance of his remaining lump sum early retirement bonus.

Also we will get I.D cards to shop on base up in Tampa Florida! Maybe I can fine some Disney dolls there at the Base Exchange!

Also I am eligible for Champ VA which now I have medical coverage again, but will have to pay at least 25%.

I still haven't heard anything back about my hardship claim for medical since I am a Veteran also.

Now maybe can ge back on some needed medications and get carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand so I can type with both hands again and maybe even try to start sewing doll clothes again!

Thanks for lisetning. Lately I feel I have no friends I can turn to except here on this board. But in reality I have no friends here in Fla that I can hang out with and do things, well my oldest daughter Crystal here lately. If I was in Tennessee I would have Tony aka Hercules to hang out and do things. I REALLY need to get back on my anti-depressants! That won't happen yet until all this 100% disability forms get sent back and start the ball rolling.
