I am having difficulty in rows 9-10 in the pattern. It reads, K6 {p2,(k1,p1)4 times, k2,) 4 times, K6. I knit the 6 for the border. purl 2, knit one purl one 4 times, then I knit 2. It never comes out even.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a mistake in the pattern? The other rows come out, but this one is making me nuts! I am determined to get this right and finish what I started.
