Hello and let me start by saying i LOVE the site and all the patterns on it. I am trying to work the Horseshoe pattern but i am running into some problems. 1: i can't seem to get the pattern to work i am trying it out on 17 stitches just to get the general idea but i end up with either 16 stitches or 18 stitches after row 5. What am i doing wrong? 2: when it say to purl one and then yarn over am i just to leave the yarn in front? I am a beginner and have been knitting for about a week now and just wanted to try something new. I would really appreciate all the help you culd give me as far as what i am doing wrong and any advice you have for a beginner. Thank you so much for your help. Phillip
