Thanks for shining the spotlight on my old pal, Mike Sekowsky. He was a cranky and troubled guy but a great guy and his JUSTICE LEAGUE issues are my favorite "team" comic of all time, even beating out that Kirby guy's in my estimation. There's an energy and a sense of movement in his pages that few could equal.
It was a tough book to do. The day his successor Dick Dillin died, I told Mike about it. He responded, "Drawing that comic could kill anyone."
It's sad Mike left us when he did. Not only do I miss him but if he were around today to show up at conventions, he'd have the longest autograph line in the room. Sorry he missed out on that.
