Origins in movies

I am saying origins should be SHORT and EXCITING. They should not be long and dull, as they usually are. Have you seen Iron Man? I hope you are not saying you found the origin sequence to be just the right length? I go for the "FF" type origin. They had them in space and cosmic rayed within 15 minutes!

P.S. The 1960 and the 1989 Batman BOTH had origins! They just dispensed with them quickly, as it should be. All it takes is a few lines of dialogue and a few minutes. No one goes to see a Superman movie expecting a documentary about Kal-El's life on Krypton.
