You are very lucky that your boss is understanding and flexible and allows you to make adjustments to your schedule. We did wait until enough girls, (who were on their way) arrived in order to start the playoffs. I am sure most would prefer to play a game late over a forfeit on any day. The game was called by the umpire on account of darkness- after 6 innings ended in a tie -and continued for 3 innings on the next scheduled date. I am satisfied that we were understanding and flexible and allowed the extra time to enjoy the game instead of a forfeit.
