Trying to learn if the Richard Goodman in the 1851 and 1861 British Census is actually the son of James and Ann Goodman of Cornwall. Would there be a marriage or death certificate in Devonshire? |
Richard Goodman, (third son of James and Ann Goodman), may have entered the merchant marine service, married and lived in Devonshire, England. No marriage or death records have been found for Richard or Elizabeth which might confirm if this is the correct person.
1851 BRITISH CENSUS OF EAST STONEHOUSE, DEVONSHIRE, ENGLAND (George Street)
Richard Goodman Male 26 Marine Born Obseen, Cornwall
Elizabeth Goodman Female 34 Milliner (Hat maker) Born Totness, Devonshire
1861 BRITISH CENSUS OF ST. ANDREW, DEVONSHIRE, ENGLAND

Thank you for your help.
