Looking at his address on the National Probate Calendar it is given as Highfield, Hartley, Plymouth. |
Plymouth & West Devon Records Office in Plymouth hold the following record and might be able to supply you with copies if you can't visit -
Repository: Plymouth and West Devon Record Office
Title: Conversion of dwelling premises into 3 flats at 'highfield', Tavistock Road, Hartley, Plymouth
Description: Plan and associated building notice, showing proposed floor plans, sections and block plan of site. Architect: Cameron Beaumont. Owner: Mr B T H Hendy. Application approved, 19 Dec 1957.
Date: Nov 1957
Most Church/Chapel burial grounds were closed in Plymouth by this time and Efford & Weston Mill Cemeteries were not open then. I think the most likely place for his burial would be Ford Park Cemetery, you would have to pay for a search of their records. If you do pay for a search of Ford Park Cemetery Burials then ensure you ask for details of other people buried in the same plot as this could include family members. Information is given on their website and you can download a burial search application form.
