I'm interested to find the precise location of the house my great grandfather George Frederick Augustus Drew RN lived in after his retirement from the Navy in about 1881 until he died in 1894. The house was called Highfield and is thought to have been a substantial genteel residence whose location is described variously as Weston Peverell (Peverell), Pennycross and Tavistock Road. It would be interesting to discover whether it still exists if its location can be pinpointed. It would also be usefulto find out where he was buried. He was probably nonconformist as he was married in the Unitarian church. Any advice and guidance ... or indeed information ... you're able to provide would be warmly welcomed|
