He was an agricultural labourer on the last census. His son Thomas was a stone quarry labourer in Princetown in 1901 aged 23. I am assuming the family moved post-1891 to Princetown for work. Your possibility that Thomas senior died in a quarry accident could be correct. Unfortunately, this is what happened to Thomas junior in 1906. He had an accident at Swell Tor/Foggintor quarry which resulted in injuries he succumbed to a year later.
Will there be records from the Family Division Courts that I can research?
