When Elizabeth Trout married William Buckland in 1797 at Clyst St George she is given on the entry in the parish register as "Residing in this Parish", this would lead one to think that maybe she was not born in this parish especially as William Buckland is given as "of this parish". It's possible that Elizabeth had not been long living in the parish or was there due to working for someone, any number of reason why she might be residing in a parish. The entry does not give the impression that she belongs to the Parish.
You would need to start looking for her baptism by checking Clyst St George and then working through all adjacent parishes, if you do not find a baptism in adjacent parishes then you will need to widen your search.
There might be more than one baptism for an Elizabeth Trout around 1776 period so it would help if you could find additional information to confirm who her parents were. Usually a child is baptised shortly after birth but this is not always the case so you would also need to check for baptisms many years after the year she was born in.
