Events especially marriages or births of any children could have taken place anywhere in the UK or Overseas as all the connected Walton, Purchase, Smith appear to be in the Navy. As they appear to be recorded as Boatswain thought it possible they might have been in the Coastguard but so far can't find them at any Coastguard Stations in England 1820's early 1830's, still not finished going through all Coastguard Establishment books. At this period I have many people who were in the Coastguard and transferred to the Navy or vice versa. Coastguards moved around the UK and you often find them moving from one establishment to another every few years so time consuming to trace. With Naval wives you tend to find them staying put for many years at the town of a Naval Establishment or their home town.
There are still a lot of Plymouth area Parish records that have not been Indexed on Findmypast or any other site so it's finding the time to trawl through these for events. The same with Cornish records, not complete on OPC site. London/Middlesex records on Ancestry are also not complete.
