The parishes on the IGI are shown in blue, the parishes not on the IGI are pink and partial records are green. Even if the adjoining parishes are pink, the map is useful to give you the names of adjoining parishes to aid further research. Before starting to search out nearby parishes you will also need to check non conformist records in Coleridge/ Coldridge and then do so in adjoining parishes. [The Genuki Devon site informs you if there are records and where they are stored.
The IGI Family Search is prepared by the Church of Latter Day Saints and covers about 60% of Devon parishes, it is free to use. It is in two parts, material submitted by members which frankly often is inaccurate or based on guesswork. The second part is based on Bishop's Transcripts and a private library The Devon and Cornwall Record Society.
It may well be that some records are more readily accessible on the subscription genealogy websites - do watch out as from time to time they offer try free trial for 14 days etc. You may find it useful to take a freebie to see what is available. The DevonFHS has provided material to Find My Past.
