I am researching a Day family who were in Plymouth in the early 19th century. The parents were William and Ann Day and they had six children, the first, George, being baptised in Stoke Damerel on 20 Oct 1811. Three survived - Mary, bap 3 Sep 1815, Caroline, bap 20 Aug 1820, and Lavinia, bap 19 Jan 1825, all Stoke Damerel.
William Day was buried in Stoke Damerel on 29 Sep 1835, aged 62, and his wife Ann was buried in Stoke Damerel on 21 Oct 1832, aged 53. However I can't find a marriage record for them, or a birth record for William Day. Can anyone help? They lived in the Dock area of Plymouth where William was a carter.
