Someone recently posed the question as to how Graham Barrow would have fared as manager of City if he had been given a free hand such as Mark Wright has had to bring players into the club.In my mind I have no doubt that City would be riding high and would certainly be playing a more entertaining type of football.Barrow was a fine midfield player and I cannot believe he would not have seen the glaring weakness City have in the creativity department.Barrow created a really fine team in his first term as manager and his season as manager of our Conference was relatively successful despite all the difficulties he faced in dealing with the lunatic. The last I heard he was coaching at Bury.I look at where Bury are in the League and it would not surprise me at all if Graham was still there.I agree that Mark Wright has done a good job up to now and defence wise we are second to none but I still believe he has been in a really fortunate position because I cannot recall a City manager having such a free hand to recruit players and I have supported them since 1955.
