Good to see you're still around to talk some sense: the endless drivel from the kids that seem to have taken over this board gets frustrating at times and has even led someone to start their own board. Welcome back!
Think your comments are a touch OTT considering we are still second in the league. I think we have to appreciate what MW has done with his relatively hort time at the club, while also recognising that, as you said, our approach at home is far too defensive.
Hatswell, I agree, is a weak link. His distribution is awful, he is good in the air but not when under pressure from attackers with the ball on the ground (no pace).
Some people were criticising Bolland on Saturday for not trying and being absent mentally. My response would be that his style appears casual, yet with that he has turned in consistently solid performances all season. He is entitled to a couple of poor games a season as is everybody else, it's just his style of play makes him look even worse when his poor game does come along.
As I've said before I don't rate Brodie, and anyway having him alongside Twiss would make our midfield look a bit light defensively. Twiss alongside Davies and/or Carden would do me fine - we need that extra attacking impetus.
Overall, I would say remember where we are in the league. We are not in form at the moment but its the whole season that counts - we are still in a strong position to reach the play-offs.
