Well said Roy, if only we had a couple more Daryl Clares for the midfield and we'd be storming ahead. God help us if he wasn't in the team in the last stage of the season! I don't want to write off our chances but agree we've been poor since before christmas, against Northwich away and losing at home was awful. You can't blame the fans for losing against forest green because tactically we were a shambles, a bit of flair in the middle and we'd have walked it so why play 4 defensive midfielders?? it just doesn't make sense! Afterall we've got one of the best defenses in the league so playing an attacking game would require less emphesis on defense, especially so in a 4-4-2. I'd love to get out this league but the midfield is the missing piece of the puzzle to securing it. Twiss should be a regular in the middle, we need a quality right back with some flair (Mustafa signed for the daggers!!), I agree he should stop putting down Sugden (and Clare) amongst other players (also notice they're usually the attack focussed ones?). It'll be interesting to hear Wrights comments on yesterday, I just hope he isn't blind enough to see the problem was in midfield.
