Fair play to GJ, he has assembled a quality side, and if you do go up automatically then you have to hand it to him. However, it is a common misconception the MW has spent loads of money. In fact he has only paid fees for 2 players to my knowledge - Daryl Clare and Phil Bolland. Don't forget also what MW inherited - an unfit rabble rooted to the foot of the conference. He's had to turn it round from there, while GJ had a decent foundation from which to build on at the start. I would still rate MW as the Conference's top manager, although I suppose I would say that, wouldn't I?!
