When we went down we did (1999/2000) for the last few matches, but that was more because it was a fight to retain Football League status than an act of loyalty as we were doing badly. Are the people who only come to games like those "gory seekers"? Sadly, even when we were doing well in what is now Division 2 in the late 80s, we struggled to beat the 3,000 mark unless the opposition brought big numbers.
