Update on Darlene & Address

You your confused, boy you should be me. I get a call from my mom wanting to know when I can come back to get Rick all lined out & to show him how to take care of my mom. When Rick & mom told me that she can't hold herself up on her on feet I went nuts. I had a long talk with the hospital staff where she was at. That was when we decided to let her come home. The nursing home where she was at was horrible. They didn't have her right the right oxygen machine let alone the right level percentage that she was suppose to be on. They wouldn't bring her water for several hours. They wouldn't put anything on the pressure points she has. Those are very dangerous when they break down they are called bedsores. These can get so bad that they have to do surgery sometimes remove bone area because the infection has gotten into the bone. When Rick & mom told me all of this I got her out of there just as fast as I could. I worked in nursing homes for a long time & just couldn't take the abuse that I was seeing & nobody cares that matters. So I got her release AMA (against Medical Advice). She has her voice all the way back now with just a little hoarse. Her spirits are so high right now. All we have to do is pray that she makes it thru the pollen season. This is where it get's very dangerous for her. The allergies flare up, then the ashmasa, then phneumonia. This could happen in a 24 hour period once her allergies go nuts. So what I'm doing today is: make a dr appt for her, talk with hospice get her qualified for that. Then we will know what extra medical help we can get to help Rick out some. I'm doing all this in between taking care of DH, running my business & trying to get ready for the bad freeze that is heading this way. I have a handyman doing some work here to help me out. Just a little over whelmed at this end. So if you think you are confused "WELCOME TO MY WORLD"! I will keep you posted on her. Here is her address & phone #.
