Elise, you looked so tired in the church picture. Not only you, but everyone. We can only image the climbs through the Cumberland Gap. We saw you in the lua picture. The pictures of all of you grouped together riding your bikes past Cush's garage and the small town were just awesome.
To say we are so proud of you would be an understandment. What you have accomplished and the remainder of the trip you will accomplish has set a standard for you life and what you can accomplish. Faith is believing in things that you cannot see. I doubt that you had any idea how tough this would be, but you had faith in yourself. The other thing that impressed me on your trip is not only faith in yourself, but the faith of people around you rooting you on. No one really does anything in life without the support of others. God gave you a great Mom and Dad and brothers. That will always be your first and strongest support group.
We all love you so much, and this effort has told us, what we already knew, is that Elise is a special person with gifts and abilities given to her by God that she is using to the maximum. That is all anyone can ask of you, is to do your best. And from what we have seen, your best is pretty darn good.
