# Traditional Pie Crust #

Servings: 5 crusts
* Ingredients: *
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening (cut & freeze in small pieces)
˝ cup ice-cold water, or as needed
* Instructions: *
In a medium bowl combine flour and salt. Cut in shortening until oatmeal-like consistency.
Combine mixture with water mixing until smooth. (Dough can also be frozen. Thaw in the refrigerator before rolling out.)
Roll dough into a rough circle about 1/8 inch thick. Use as bottom or top crust as desired.
