It's unfortunate that he has gone through 2 marriages. I feel badly for his children who have had to see their homes ripped apart. I don't know what lead to his marriages breaking up and what the issues are but it's obvious that he is struggling to keep a marriage and family together in his life.
What I have learned and have come to believe strongly in is that there are many men in life who can be greatly successful in whatever their chosen field of endeavor may be. We are talking men who can run, for example, Fortune 500 companies and makes decisions everyday that impact the lives of hundreds employees. But it seems that over the years if you were to look at alot of these same highly successful men you would find that when it comes to their relationships with their wives and with their children they have no real idea what it is to be a leader in their own homes. They just do not understand the importance of what it means to be a good husband and father. And unfortunately some of them do not seem to even care. And in the end alot of people end up being hurt deeply because of it-either by having a marriage and family that is in disarray over the length of years or they divorce and break the family apart. I do not know if that is the case with Dave or not. But he looks like another man who has been successful at something, in this case pro football, but when it came to his marriage and family he had difficulties keeping things together.
