yes,thats a fair point. theres little doubt the afc west was the best division through the eighties. seattle were almost always in the hunt and i would say dave krieg can take plenty of credit for that. he didnt really get a lot of help from the defence.as much as i liked some of the defensive players, as a unit they didnt often convince. can anyone tell me what the circumstance was that led to krieg leaving as i had difficulty keeping up with the news back then? i was surprised to see him playing for kc but not surprised to see the long ball connections instead of just handing off to the power running backs like he was probably expected to just do.
