Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Dan Fouts, Sunny Jurgensen, Fran Tarkenton. All great quarterbacks, all hall of famers with Marino as the exception only because he isn't eligible yet. Collective Super Bowl Championships; 0. So I respectively disagree with you, my friend. Dave Kreig has just as good or better numbers than most of those guys. I think he should be in. He probably won't be because he played for the Seahawks, but he should be.

: I want to get one thing straight. The
: Seahawks are MY team and Dave Kreig
: was the best QB to ever play for
: them. That said, I don't think that
: Dave will ever make the Hall of Fame,
: if he does I will cheer louder than
: anyone. One of the requirements for
: a QB to enter the Hall is for them to
: have won a championship. Check it
: out yourself. How many QB's are
: there without winning a championship?
: I agree that on stats alone he
: should go and I also agree that he
: was hampered by the teams that he had
: to play for. In '83 he was one game
: away from the big game and had the
: best chance to do it in his career
: and he couldn't lead them past the
: Raiders. I hate to rain on anyone's
: parade but the Hall is primarily for
: Champions and Dave Kreig was never on
: a Championship team.
