im sorry for the late response on this topic, but ive been busy...i dont understand how anyone can say Dave sucks..he came in to a expansion team situation (i know when he was drafted the seahawks had been in the league for awhile) and back in those days expansion wasnt like what it is now, when you are given a team with your pick of other teams players..back then all you had was scrubbs to choose from.Dave posted #s on bad teams...and when he finally did have some help, he put up good #s as well..so he lost a title game to the Raiders..how many title games did Marino loose...and if anyone remembers, when the Chiefs replaced him with Joe Montana, they were in the title game against Buffalo..and if Dave doesnt fill in, Chiefs dont even get that far....and besides, how many playoff championship games has Vinny been in...and by the way, the Chiefs, was a winning team and they picked him up.they went 11-5 and 10-6 with Dave as a starter, and he won 2 playoff games in those 2 years, and the Chiefs lost each time to the eventual Superbowl Representative for the AFC each of those years...it wasnt his fault the Chiefs defense always uderachieved in the playoffs...well ive said my piece thanks for the oppurtunity...one more thing..if wins where based on HEART alone, then Dave is undefeated..Sacked 7 times in one game..and escapes #8 and wins the ballgame on his TD pass.....he never gave up....
