Actually the Hall of Fame is for people who performed at a high level for a long period of time, two things that define Krieg. Using rationale like yours is one of the reasons why people like Joe Namath are in the HOF. Check out his career stats and tell me why he is there.
: I want to get one thing straight. The
: Seahawks are MY team and Dave Kreig
: was the best QB to ever play for
: them. That said, I don't think that
: Dave will ever make the Hall of Fame,
: if he does I will cheer louder than
: anyone. One of the requirements for
: a QB to enter the Hall is for them to
: have won a championship. Check it
: out yourself. How many QB's are
: there without winning a championship?
: I agree that on stats alone he
: should go and I also agree that he
: was hampered by the teams that he had
: to play for. In '83 he was one game
: away from the big game and had the
: best chance to do it in his career
: and he couldn't lead them past the
: Raiders. I hate to rain on anyone's
: parade but the Hall is primarily for
: Champions and Dave Kreig was never on
: a Championship team.
