I just wanted to say "cool site"!! Dave Krieg is really underrated and deserves to be in the hall of fame. I live in kansas city, and before the '92 season, did not think much of the Chiefs. I watched during the '91 season when Krieg made a fourth quarter comeback against the Chiefs, driving the seahawks down to field goal range. At the time I remember complaining to my friends, "Thats why the Chiefs aren't going anywhere, we need an Elway or a Dave Krieg". Well, sure enough, in '92 they signed Krieg as a plan B free agent, and all things considered the guy did really well. And I remember that season a lot of my friends suddenly turning into football fans, too. "When's the Chiefs game on?" became a serious question and ice-breaker that year!! The team struggled that season, but did make it to the playoffs that season in a very competitive AFC west division. The next year, Montana came to KC along with a west coast offense, and that team fought for every hard earned yard all the way to the AFC championship game. I don't think KC would have gotten that far if he had not stuck with the Chiefs. Although it's been several years, my friends and I still talk about the '92 and '93 seasons, and Dave Krieg was a big reason for that.
