In Dave's lone year in Detroit, he led them into the playoffs on the road against Green Bay. Despite Barry Sanders running for only about 10 yards, the Lions were within a touchdown late. Dave hit Herman Moore in the end zone but he landed just past the end line. I thought he was pushed out, but no call. I'd love to see that play again to see how close it really was because it most likely would have been the game winner. It was a great run for Dave that year and as a Lions fan I was upset he wasn't re-signed for the next year.
