First off, I must give props to this website for honoring a truly great player. Looking past his numbers, which hold up very well on their own, He was a scrappy player with incredible competitive drive, who never gave up and always gave you the feeling that he could bring the team back despite the odds. In this aspect he reminds me of Favre or Elway. But he'd also find a way to make a play happen, whether it meant throwing the ball side arm, or just running with it with all his heart & guts. To sum it up, He was a Winner and he always made the team he played for that much better because of it. His stats should put him in the Hall of Fame, But playing for the teams he did, he will never get the recognition he deserves. Well, Our hats off to you, Mudbone. I'm sure if you played for Dallas, NY, or The Raiders, you'd be in the Hall by now.
