: Tom, I am having a problem with
: several of my 2 year old revoluta
: seedlings. Previously, they have
: been doing great, with a nice golf
: ball sized caudex, but now several
: have pushed leaves that have become
: yellow, small, and keeled. 3 or so
: leaves have emerged this way, and
: the individual leaflets have curled
: and turned black, like someone
: burned them with a flame. Once
: these punk leaves hardened, it tried
: to push more, but they just dried up
: and fell to the side. There are a
: few more leaves poking through, but
: I have no idea if they will flush
: properly. The plants are strong,
: and in 50% shade, in a clean potting
: mix. I have several coontie and
: taitungensis seedlings in the same
: area, and they are growing fine.
: What are your thoughts?
:
The conditions are right, but don't know how much they are getting watered. I would say first that they are too hot, or not getting enough water compared to the heat, or something like that. Other than that, it really sounds like some sort of damage to a few plants. Any way they got a chemical burn, or too much fertilizer, or something along that line?
