I bought 2 sagos when in Myrtle Beach, SC. this past May. I live in MD (zone 6) & have them potted. I am now seeing a tiny brown hard covered seed-like thing attaching to the underside of the leaves. When I remove one, there is white powdery substance within this seed thing. My sagos are still a deep green. I treated with Orthenex systemic garden insect & diseas control (contains acephate & triforine. But the brown seeds are still there. Is this some kind of a scale disease? What is it & how do I get rid of it? I will be moving the plants indoor soon & don't want to bring in any bugs.
