i just read your article about never throw out a cycad. i have further questions now. so my sago base is about the size of a baseball. i had planned to cut it into three based on the number of existing fronds it has but do you think i could get more than three plants? what is the smallest size you would cut off and try to propagate? where i previously cut off the existing fronds will new fronds emerge or do they come off the base somewhere else. if i planted three wedges, should i plant them on the side like you suggest, or plant themso the frond is straight up, should i plant them deep or halfway or what? thanks for your expertise.
