Are you asking a question about a sago, or about a palm? The heading says sago, your questions asks about the palm. I leave my sagos outside at 20F if they are under something to protect from frost. Your PDP can also handle below freezing, maybe down to about 26 or so without frost, but palms grow totally different from cycads and should never be thought of as plants that grow the same way. Palms get mad when they get cold, even if it isn't enough to kill, they really slow down when they get cold, where cycads grow in flushes and don't really get upset if it gets cold during a time that they want to be dormant anyway.
