I am sorry I didn't get to this in time. How is the plant now? Normally, when this happens, it is a lack of water being pumped top the new leaves. Normally, this is more of a problem I see with cycas species, but in this case, you may have a root bound plant, or the soil is so that when you water it, the water runs out real fast, or something like that. When I see a plant pushing new leaves and it starts to droop, I just water it real good every morning to help it along.
