: Nice seeing you at Cycad Day. I am
: having a lot of trouble with
: Macrozamia communis. The seeds
: germinate and the seedlings seem to
: grow normally but them the leaves
: begin to curl. Some I have
: purchased as seedlings are fine but
: then the leaves begin to curl. This
: has not happened with other
: Macrozamia. Is it a deficency or
: environment in my nursery. I am in
: SFla and hate to give up on this
: cycad.

Hi Betty it was great seeing you and everyone down there. It was fun and I think anyone who bid on items made out pretty well.
I have not seen any curling on this species, so maybe you need to tell me a bit more in detail. Are the edges of the leaflets turning brown and looking sort of dried out, or are they just turning a bit compared to the way they should be? Do the new leaves come out perfect, and this curling happens a few months later, or is this happening before the leaflets totally harden up? And you say its only happening to some of the plants?
