I just read your article in Ornamental Outlook about the scale on my Sagos. I am going to try the coffee spray and mulch this weekend. I have tried everything else and nothing has worked, let's hope this does. I have too many big plants to lose any one of them. I noticed in the article that the pictures on the bottom of the page said March then March (trimmed and treated) then June. How much do I trim before I spray and mulch. They are really infested with the white sticky stuff.
