Sounds like severe lack of water, Chad. When the temps are that high, and with the soil-less mix that A&A uses, I would be watering my plants every day or every other day. |
: I have 3 Encphalartos seedling that
: have all went south over the summer.
: One lehmanii in a 1 gallon pot with
: 2 fronds both black and wilted at
: the base but the leaves are still
: green. One altensteinii and one
: longifolius in liner pots, both
: brown and crispy. All 3 are in
: original pots from A&A cycads in
: SO. Cal and Iv'e had them about 9
: months under a shade cloth in my
: back yard. I water them about once
: a week and it has been around 100
: degrees all summer with intense
: sunlight here in Central Cal. Any
: thoughts? Thanks, Chad
