: Tom -
: Do you think that the coffee ground
: treatment for Asian Scale would also
: work on palms that have regular tea
: scale? Also, you mentioned that the
: coffee grounds discouraged
: grasshoppers. Will that work on the
: huge lubber grasshoppers that we
: have in Georgia in the summer?
: Thanks....
:
: As a spray, it works on any plant.
: It kills all scales on all plants,
: but I wouldn't count on it working
: systemically.
: Luckily, I haven't had lubbers to
: try it on. I have the American
: Grasshoppers, that are about 4
: inches long and are green and brown.
: It would try though and see what
: happens.
:
: Thanks Tom. I'm going out to
: Starbucks and see what they
: have....grounds-wise.
:
They should have a pail where they put them after they are bagged, but if they do make these available, but there are none in the pail, many times they have a garbage bag that they are filling at the time and at pleast at my favorite store, they are happy to give me the whole bag, because then, they don't have to take the time to fill the little silver bags. Sometimes I have got the same as 8 silver bags when they had a full one ready to change out.
