I just got back from checking them and you were correct. Too wet and mucky. I could squeeze water out of the bottom medim with my hand. The mixture I am using in 3 parts perlite, 6 part course sand, 8 lambert canadian peat, and 4 cypress sawdust. They are in two and three gallon containers and only have side holes. I know it would be alot of work but what could I do to the medium to make if not so wet and mucky? I am retired so time is not a problem. If I had to I could empty all the medium and add to it whatever that will solve the mucky and wetting problem but I cannot stop the rain. Getting wet in Tallahassee

: I have about 500 coontie that I have

: I'd check some of them and see if
: they are rotting. Could be too much

: got too wet or mucky for some
: reason. Could be other things, but
: when things start dying like that,
: it is usually rot.
